Criminal Justice Zone

I know that diverse majors are helpful for law school, but I think that a criminal justice might give a slight head start for me. If I want to be a criminal defense attorney, is a criminal justice major a smart choice?

I am getting my bachelors in criminal justice. I want to be a state trooper. How will having a bachelors degree help me advance and what do all the big dogs have like the Sergent’s and the Chief of police.

I am want to go to a community college for 2 yrs, then transfer to a 4 year college in New York state. I am looking at Dutchess community and ulster community. I want to major in criminal justice, and i am curious to what are the best colleges for what I am looking for in NY, something towards the city or in the city. Then after four years, what are the best law schools in New York City. I want to become a lawyer, but I am still undecided to what kind of lawyer.
