Criminal justice major looking for a job, but not sure how to go about it?

I’m a criminal justice and biology double major currently in my second to last year in college. I have a 3.0 and also looking for a job (part time or internship) that will help me get a jump start on my possible career. I want to be a cop or work somewhere within law enforcement. How would I go about this? Where should I look for jobs or internships? Any help would be great thanks. I also live in new york new jersey metropolitan area if that helps.
