Is criminal justice a rewarding degree? What types of jobs can you get with it?

I’m a freshman at the University of Wyoming and i just switched out of architectural engineering to criminal justice because i have had my mind set on SWAT my whole life. Can anyone give me their personal experience of a criminal justice degree and what it did for you? i just want to make sure i’m making the right choice.
