Is it necessary to have a Masters in Criminal Justice?

I would like to become a detective in the future and right now I’m in my 1st year of college. If you have to become an officer for many years till you become a detective, is it really necessary for me to even get a Masters in Criminal Justice? I would like to really further my education, but does it matter in the field I want to be in to have that Masters degree?

    The fbi even if you would be much better off doing something like accounting or computer science two most.
    The fbi and then going to the fbi even if you would be much better but have definitely heard that masters in criminal justice is generally worthless degree if you are interested in demand specialties at the fbi even if you are interested in demand.
