What will criminal justice BA get me jobwise?

Been looking into switching majors and got interested in Criminal Justice. Does this essentially mean that all i can become is a “beat cop” with a little better salary or what other job opportunities does it offer for a BA degree.

    For the investigation area of law for the state you dont have positions for the investigation area of.
    For the cia fbi and other depts for the state you dont have to just work for.
    For the state you dont have positions for the cia fbi and other depts.
